OpenAI’s Vision: From AGI to Superintelligence
In an intriguing update on his personal blog, Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI, shared his thoughts on the future of artificial intelligence. According to Altman, OpenAI believes it has the knowledge to construct artificial general intelligence (AGI) as traditionally defined. Now, the company is setting its sights on something even more ambitious: superintelligence.

OpenAI’s close ally and investor, Microsoft, shares a similar vision but with a financial twist: AI systems that generate at least $100 billion in profits. Interestingly, if this milestone is achieved by OpenAI, Microsoft will lose access to its technology due to a mutual agreement.
