Coralogix Expands AI Capabilities with Aporia Acquisition

A Strategic Move into AI Security and Monitoring

In a significant leap forward, Coralogix, a leading observability platform, has announced its acquisition of Aporia. This innovative startup specializes in providing businesses with tools to oversee and safeguard their AI workloads, ensuring that AI systems operate within set boundaries to prevent issues like hallucinations or unintended data disclosures.

Integration and Innovation

With this acquisition, Coralogix is not just expanding its service offerings but also establishing a dedicated AI research center named Coralogix AI. This new hub will be spearheaded by Aporia’s co-founders, CEO Liran Hason and CTO Alon Gubkin. The integration of Aporia’s advanced technology into Coralogix’s existing services promises a seamless experience for hundreds of AI teams already leveraging Coralogix.

“This acquisition is a significant step for us. Using Aporia’s technology and expertise, hundreds of AI teams already using Coralogix today will be able to enjoy high-quality visibility, protection, and control over their AI systems.”

– Ariel Assaraf, Coralogix CEO

Building a Unified Monitoring Platform

The overarching goal is to develop a unified monitoring platform that caters to both AI and traditional workloads. This platform aims to provide users with comprehensive insights into their data pipelines, infrastructure, applications, and AI systems. Founded in 2014, Coralogix has always offered a broad array of monitoring, analytics, and security services. However, this acquisition fills a critical gap by adding specialized tools for AI system monitoring.

Aporia’s Journey

Aporia began its journey in 2019 with a focus on machine learning long before the recent surge in interest around large language models. Since its inception, the company has raised $30 million in funding, including a notable $25 million Series A round in 2022 from investors like Tiger Global, TLV Partners, Samsung Next, and Vertex Ventures.

The Broader Market Trend

While the financial details of the acquisition remain undisclosed, this move aligns with a broader industry trend where larger platforms are acquiring specialized solutions. This aligns with market preferences for full-stack platforms that can optimize enterprise budgets.

“This expansion strengthens Coralogix’s commitment to taking our AI strategy and delivering the best tech to our customers. Our new research center will foster AI innovation and collaboration, providing our clients with the tools and environment needed to drive the future of AI systems.”
