Introduced at CES 2025, the Wordrunner keyboard embraces the rising popularity of mechanical keyboards while staying true to its mission of promoting distraction-free writing.
The Freewrite Wordrunner is essentially a mechanical keyboard with unique features tailored for writers. Among its highlights are a built-in Wordometer for tracking word count and a “sprint timer” designed to boost productivity. By embedding these tools into the keyboard itself, Astrohaus aims to eliminate the need for additional writing apps, enabling writers to focus solely on their craft.

The Wordrunner is crafted from aluminum and features floating keys along with a distinctive red control knob. This innovative system is set to launch on Kickstarter in February, with an anticipated shipping date in late 2025.
